Publisher’s Clearing House spokesman Ed McMahon dies

Longtime television personality, game show host and Tonight Show sidekick Ed McMahon died in a Los Angeles hospital Tuesday, June 23, 2009. He was 86.
Perhaps best known as Johnny Carson’s straight man, whose bellowing “H-e-e-e-e-e-ere’s Johnny!” opened NBC’s Tonight Show, McMahon had dreamed of being a radio announcer since he was a child.

Farrah Fawcett: My favorite Angel

Actress Farrah Fawcett whose layered blonde  swimsuit poster transformed the “Charlie’s Angels” star into a ’70s icon, died Thursday. She was 62.
